our health in our hands![]() partnerships introduction one-stop-shop commonwealth government state government < division of general practice sa aboriginal health partnership state government The one-stop-shop operates from the Gordon Education Centre building, which is owned by the State Department of Health. Pangula Mannamurna holds the head lease for the building, which has been provided at a nominal rent. Pangula Mannamurna is currently negotiating with Country Health SA in regard to the delivery of primary health care services to Indigenous people in the South East can be improved. Country Health SA was formed on 1 July 2006. It replaced the Office for Country Health and the associated seven country regional health services, including the South East Regional Health Service. Among other things, Pangula Mannamurna continues to participate in the State Government's South East Aboriginal Health Advisory Committee (which meets every two months) and has been working on a joint Aboriginal health plan with the State ('Ways Forward'). It is expected that State Government workers will soon be co-located at the one-stop-shop. It is proposed that the members of the former South east Regional Health Service's Health Promotion Team and an Aborginal Health Worker will work along side Pangula Mannamurna workers. Pangula Mannamurna also receives funding from the State Department of Families & Youth Services for a Youth Worker.
